Ghost hunting is basically scientific research to prove there is an afterlife. There are a lot of skeptics who believe there are no ghosts, and many believers who beg to differ. And that is why ghost hunting is so important. To prove to everyone that there is, or is not, life after we die. After all, most everyone (granted, for different reasons) would like to know if there is an afterlife.

To date there is no concrete evidence to prove that ghosts are real. There are many videos and photos and EVP’s that show some type of paranormal happenings. Unfortunately, with the technology nowadays it is quite easy to manipulate videos and photo’s, so many (most?) of them are frauds. But it is also a lot easier to obtain paranormal evidence. So the chance to actually catch a ghost on video or photo has dramatically improved.
